This uniquely fabulous vintage china cuff bracelet was created from a stunning 1970's Broadhurst 'Medina' pattern by artist Kathie Winkle. I was lucky enough to stumble across it in an antique mall in Landrum, SC!
What attracted me to this fabulous black & white plate is, of course, the fabulously beautiful artwork + the cool mid century modern vibes it throw off ~ I just knew it would make some fun & fantastic jewelry pieces & I hope you agree! :)
The design for this ab~fab bracelet was chosen from the plate, carefully cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout was added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china piece.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a fantastic antiqued silver plated brass cuff bracelet square setting that measures 3/4" square. The bracelet is adjustable by squeezing the sides to fit.
*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
