This beautiful pair of Vintage China pierced earrings were created from a vintage plate from Johnson Brothers pattern JB125. The minute I saw this salad plate listed on my local FB Marketplace, I grabbed it up PDQ as I just knew it would make some stunning jewelry & I think I was right, but you be the judge! :)
Here's the description I found online: Add a touch of elegance to your table with this stunning antique salad plate from Johnson Brothers! Made in England in 1913, this pattern (JB125) features a vintage multicolor (pink orange & blue) floral bouquet pattern alternating with blue + black scrollwork with 2 yellow flowers, then is finished off nicely with a geometric rim in yellow & black. Just gorgeous, if you ask me! :)
The design for these earrings was chosen from the plate, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china pendant.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain pieces into triangular settings that are antiqued silver plated brass & measure 5/8" x 5/8" & the earring part is hinged earwire.
*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
