This beautiful & totally fabulous antiqued silver adjustable ring has been created from vintage Japanese porcelain coffee mug by Fuji Fine China.
Design Style: The mug features a traditional Kutani-style motif, characterized by intricate, multi-paneled designs of bluebirds, chrysanthemums & floral brocade.
Era: These types of porcelain mugs were commonly produced in Japan during the 1970s & 1980s.
For this beautiful ring, I captured some of the gorgeous floral brocade for you to enjoy!
This particular ring design was chosen from the mug, cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage porcelain piece.
The rectangle setting/bezel is antique silver plated brass & measures a little over 1" long x just under 3/4" wide and it is adjustable to fit most any finger you might like to adorn with it!
*Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
