This beautiful hammered antiqued copper pendant was created from a vintage Royal Doulton/Minton (a historic and highly regarded English pottery company founded in Staffordshire, England) saucer in their "Asian Flowers" pattern. The "Asian Flowers" pattern was first produced in 1975 & was discontinued in 1995 & it showcases an intricate, vibrant floral rim design featuring shades of pink, purple, & rust-red flowers interspersed with green & blue foliage. It is framed by a gold geometric inner border and a clean pink outer band ~ simply stunning if you ask me!
The design within the saucer was chosen for this pendant with care, cut out with ceramic tile nippers, then smoothed out to size & shape with a grinder, (white) grout was added to the edges to seal & protect the vintage porcelain piece.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a square shaped, lovely antiqued copper plated brass bezel/setting that measures just under 1 1/4" long (from loop) & is a little more than 1" wide.
The necklace I am providing to wear this beauty is a 22" antiqued copper circle link chain with lobster claw clasp.
*Aside from the necklace option provided, conversely, you could also hang it from most any necklace you have in your jewelry box.
**Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
