"Three Birds" by Signature Housewares Pendant Necklace

This super fun vintage china gunmetal pendant was created from a vintage 2012 "Three Birds" dessert/appetizer plate from the Room Creative collection produced by Signature Housewares. The mid-century modern inspired design features a geometric graphic illustration of three colorful birds (red, green & orange/yellow) perched among stylized brown branches, green leaves & red berries on a clean white stoneware background. Isn't it just fabulous? For this beautiful pendant, I captured that super fab green bird for you to wear & enjoy! :)
The design for this ab~fab pendant was chosen from the plate, carefully cut out with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is added to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china piece.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain piece into a trapezoid shaped gunmetal plated zinc-based alloy bezel that measures 1 3/4" long, 1 1/4" at its widest point.
The necklace I am providing to wear this fun & fabulous piece is a 16" Lime green (glass) Seed Bead necklace, with lobster closure + 3" extender chain.
*Aside from the necklace option provided, you could also hang it from most any necklace you have in your jewelry box...
**Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
