"Vernon" by Hutschenreuther Selb Pierced Earrings

These beautiful & totally fabulous vintage china pierced earrings have been created from a Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria rim soup bowl in the lovely floral "Vernon" pattern that features a delicate multi-colored floral swag border including shades of blue, pink, orange & purple, coupled with a central offset floral spray cascading down the side of the inner basin. This classic pattern was produced by the Royal Bavarian factory predominantly during the mid-20th century. For these stunning earrings, I captured some of those lovely flowers for you to wear & enjoy!
The design for these earrings was chosen from the bowl, cut out carefully with ceramic tile nippers, smoothed out to size & shape with my handy dandy grinder, then (white) grout is applied to the edges to seal & further protect the vintage china pieces.
I have lovingly placed the porcelain pieces into lovely rectangular hammered antiqued silver over brass bezels that measure a little over 1.25" long (with loop) & 1/2" wide. With the hanging hoops, they hang around 2" long.
*The earrings are hung with 925 sterling silver hoops.
**Each JBD piece comes with a 'Story Card' that tells a little about the Vintage China Pattern that was used in the piece purchased! :)
